KARACHI: Following the Supreme Court’s order, the federal government announced on Saturday to remove Inspector General (IG) Ghulam Haider Jamali and appoint Allah Dino (AD) Khawaja as the new IG Sindh. According to reports, the Sindh government had submitted names of three candidates for the post as the top police chief, of which AD Khawaja was selected to replace Jamali. NAB ordered to probe Sindh police graft cases “The provincial government welcomed the newly appointed IG Sindh,” the government spokesperson said.
