Leaked Video of Rabia Anum Anchor of Geo News by umar-akmal LONDON: Sarfaraz Merchant, one of the central characters in the MQM-related money laundering investigation, said in the Geo programme Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Ke Saath on Monday that he was ready to come to Pakistan to record his statement to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). He said FIA Director Inaam Ghani has assured him security and the removal of his reservations. He said he was waiting for a new letter from them and would announce his programme after receiving the letter. He said he would share what he possessed with the Pakistan government and the FIA. Earlier, he told the FIA investigators that he will be unable to appear before it on March 15, 2016 unless the FIA did not set its record straight and put the whole context of the investigation right. Sarfaraz Merchant set the record straight by telling the FIA that he didn’t originally accuse the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) or its leader Altaf Hussain of receiving money from RAW, India’s main spy agency, but it was Scotland Yard, showing proof. Sarfaraz Merchant said he had undeniable proof with him showing that the MQM took money from Indian sources and he indicated that he will cooperate with the FIA once amends had been made to the summon, the record set straight and inappropriate language and the threat of punishment withdrawn. Sarfaraz Merchant elaborated that it was Scotland Yard that had originally said that the MQM took money from Indian government sources. He said it’s a matter of record that the MQM leaders, including M Anwar and Tariq Mir, accepted before the Scotland Yard investigators that they had received money — millions of pounds — from India for several years. Merchant said that he came to know about the evidence of the MQM’s involvement with RAW during his recorded interview with the police in London when he saw the shocking evidence when the police investigators revealed it to him. Merchant said that he was aware — and has proof — that the MQM took money from RAW but he was not alone in saying that; Scotland Yard had said it in writing too. Merchant said that his only issue was with the FIA letter “the way it has been presented and written”. He said the MQM’s involvement with RAW is a serious matter and must be dealt with at the highest level. This correspondent has obtained a copy of the hard-hitting letter written by Sarfaraz Merchant in response to the hurriedly-written summons issued by the FIA to him, urging him to appear before the committee mandated to investigate the alleged links of the MQM with RAW. The FIA was forced into action after Sarfraz Merchant said in a world exclusive with Geo News’ flagship current affairs show ‘Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Saath’ that he had been asked by the Scotland Yard investigators during recorded interviews if he was aware that the MQM was in the pay of the Indian government sources. Merchant said that he had not “levelled any allegation on any political party or its leadership”. He told the FIA that his interview on Geo News was “in connection with a leaked document pertaining to a criminal inquiry pending in the United Kingdom” — i.e. the money-laundering investigation under the Proceeds of Crimes Act involving Altaf Hussain, M Anwar, Tariq Mir, Sarfraz Merchant and two others. “I had given my views on the contents of that document and some observations of the concerned law enforcement agency i.e. the Scotland Yard, which were brought to my notice being a party to the case during my under caution interview on 15th of April, 2015. It is therefore incorrect to suggest that I have alleged something on a political party,” stressed Sarfraz Merchant, while explaining that it was not him but the Scotland Yard which believed that the MQM had received money from the Indian government in violation of the UK as well as Pakistani electoral laws. Sarfraz Merchant told the FIA bosses that allegations about the MQM’s links with RAW emerged first in June last year and he wondered what took Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s government so long to come into action when the nature of the allegations was of shocking and scandalous nature concerning directly to the security of Pakistan. Merchant said that the “subject matter of the criminal investigation in the UK is known to all and has been frequently discussed in the media and there is no confusion that the issue is directly related to the security of Pakistan.” Issuing a hard-hitting critique of the very poor handling of the case by the Government of Pakistan, Merchant said in the letter: “I am surprised to learn that you have initiated action at such a belated stage. It would have been proper to contact UK authorities more than a year ago for mutual assistance and simultaneous initiation of proceedings in Pakistan; unfortunately this was not done.” Sarfraz Merchant expressed his “disappointment on the language and text of ‘your’ letter which appears to be an attempt to intimidate and pressurise me by indicating criminal action against me and also placing the entire onus of the case on my shoulders”. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had requested Sarfraz Merchant to assist the FIA in its inquiry but the FIA issued a threatening summon to Merchant. Merchant took an exception to the fact that the FIA summon was signed off by the Commercial Banking Circle. Merchant said he believed that “matters of national security are required to be handled more professionally and not as a typical case of Commercial Banking Circle”. Merchant explained that he was a “responsible and patriotic citizen” of Pakistan and he felt “obliged to render complete assistance in a matter involving security and integrity of the country in accordance with law, however the manner in which the case is being handled, especially the manner in which the summon has been issued, reflects that importance and gravity of the issue has not been understood by your agency”. Sarfraz Merchant concluded: “Under such circumstances I will not be able to appear on the 15th of March, 2016 for giving my statement until the format/contents of your un-dated letter delivered to me by DHL and through Pakistan High Commission, London through post received on 11/03/2016 and 12/03/2016 are corrected referred in Paragraph No3 of this letter”.

Father Arrested Before Marrying His 12 Years Old Step Daughter In Pakistan

Father Arrested Before Marrying His 12 Years... by umar-akmal At 12 years old, Shaheen Hashmat left her family home in Scotland to escape the threat of forced marriage to a stranger in Pakistan. At 13, she attempted suicide. Hashmat, who now campaigns against forced marriage and “honor-based” violence, says Britain urgently needs better mental health services for girls and women escaping these situations. “There needs to be far more training about the increased risk of suicide and the impact of family estrangement,” said Hashmat, who won the True Honor 2016 award on Thursday for her bravery in standing up to honor abuse. Experts say thousands of girls and women in Britain are subjected to honor abuse every year as a way of controlling behavior perceived as bringing shame on their family. Hashmat, now 33, grew up in a strict Pakistani family, in which every aspect of her life was policed, from the TV she watched to the people she spoke to, even the way she sat. She was beaten and saw others in her family beaten, too. Her two older sisters were forced into marriage as teenagers after being sent “on holiday” to Pakistan. As she grew up she started to challenge what was happening around her. “If I had stayed the physical abuse would have increased because I was seen as being out of control and becoming too westernized,” she told Thomson Reuters Foundation. “Forced marriage is a way of disciplining a woman who wants to make her own life choices. I was seen as having an attitude problem so I’m sure I would have been put on a plane, like my sisters were, and made to marry a stranger.” Hashmat’s escape was organized by her sisters with the help of police and social services. Over several weeks she smuggled her few possessions out of a back window at the family home into a waiting car. One day she told her parents she needed to visit a relative for help with her homework. She never returned. But the shock and difficulty of adjusting to her new life and the estrangement from her family took its toll. One year later she took an overdose and ended up in hospital for a week. “The suicidal feelings have been a regular experience throughout my life, and that’s a huge part of the reason why I’ve started doing the work I’m doing now,” said Hashmat who now lives in London. She cites a survey that indicates Asian women are more than twice as likely to commit suicide as women from other backgrounds in Britain, with family violence seen as a key factor. Hashmat has since written about her experiences in a blog, challenging the taboos around mental health which are particularly strong in Asian communities. Hashmat’s dream is to set up a mental health service for women who have fled forced marriage and honor abuse. “Estrangement from the people with whom you have created many of your most important memories — wonderful as well as awful — can be overwhelming,” she said. “You are also often leaving behind a whole community and trying to make a new life in a completely new culture. That’s incredibly difficult.” The True Honor awards are made by the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organization (IKWRO), a British charity that supports victims of honor abuse and forced marriage. Britain’s Forced Marriage Unit said this week it had dealt with 1,220 suspected forced marriage cases last year — a slight fall on 2014. But Hashmat said the figures don’t convey the real extent of the problem and that police need better training. “If you can’t absolutely rely on the authorities to help you when you may have just one chance to get out, that may well be the difference between life and death,” she said.

Afghan girls in American Army

fghan girls in American Army by umar-akmalLadies,” my email began, “a Tina Fey movie about our favorite Area of Operations? Attention must be paid.” The message went to some of the women I had worked with at the Pentagon during my stint on the Pakistan desk. A movie about the last decade-plus of war starring a woman was rare enough, but a funny movie about it headlined by an actress we all admire was exciting. Before the four of us met up on the film’s opening night, I did a little homework to prepare for my cinematic experience. What I found puzzled me. Review after review in the major national papers and Hollywood weeklies panned the film. It’s not surprising, of course, for critics to criticize a movie, but something about the language reviewers chose and the problems they had with the film sounded hollow. In describing the journey that Kim Baker, Tina Fey’s character, takes during her years covering Afghanistan as a reporter, the New York Times said she “generally gets her groove back.” The review also called an Afghan official who makes “advances” on her “goofily forward.” Rolling Stone (inaccurately, as it turns out) reported that to save her beau, Baker “puts out for the future Pakistan Prime Minister.” The reviewer in Variety accused the film of being too “playful” and avoiding hard issues. Many complained that it wasn’t funny enough, while a description of the movie as essentially a romantic comedy seemed unlikely.

PPP provincial council vows to protect democratic rule in the country Karachi The Sindh chief minister rubbished on Wednesday calls for the revival of a presidential form of governance in the country. “Those talking about a presidential system live in a fool’s paradise as the system of governance in the country is a parliamentary one and it will continue to remain that way,” Syed Qaim Ali Shah said while chairing a meeting of the ruling Pakistan People’s Party’s provincial council. This was the first time that the Sindh chief minister publicly expressed his reaction to the political agenda announced by Muttahida Qaumi Movement dissident leader and former Karachi mayor Mustafa Kamal last week. During his press conference on March 3, besides levelling allegations against MQM chief Altaf Hussain, Kamal had also called for replacing the country’s parliamentary system of governance with a presidential one. However, the Sindh chief minister did not mention Kamal’s name during the meeting. The Sindh council meeting of the PPP was convened to chalk out a programme for observing the 37th death anniversary of the founder of party’s founder, the late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, on April 4. A major public meeting will be held in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Larkana to commemorate the say. PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other party leader will speak there. The chief minister praised Bhutto’s political services and said the late founder of the party had sacrificed his life to uphold his principles and did not bow down to military dictator General Ziaul Haq. He said that the activists and supporters of the PPP had been following in the footsteps of Bhutto. He said the present party chairman, Bilawal, was as popular among the masses as was his mother Benazir Bhutto and his maternal grandfather Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. The chief minister said Bilawal would soon visit Punjab and other areas in the upcountry to address public gatherings. Shah said in the 2018 general elections, the PPP would again emerge again and not just be victorious in Sindh, but also sweep polls in other parts of the country. Resolutions The participants of the PPP Sindh council meeting later adopted resolutions for reaffirming confidence in the leadership of Bilawal and the party’s co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and the steps they had taken. The also adopted a resolution to express resolve on behalf of party cadres to defend and safeguard constitutional and democratic rule in the country and foil the conspiracies being hatched against it . Another resolution congratulated the family of slain Punjab governor Salmaan Taseer on the recovery of his abducted son, Shahbaz Taseer. The participants of the meeting expressed optimism that Ali Haider Gilani, former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani’s son who was abducted in 2013, would also be rescued by the security agencies soon. They also praised the members of the Sindh Assembly for unanimously adopting a Hindu marriage bill into law last month.

This means you should look at something 10 feet away for 10 seconds for every 10 minutes you spend working on the computer! Additionally, getting around eight hours of sleep a night is incredibly important for your eye health. If your eyes are well-rested, they will be in much better condition! If you currently do not sleep enough or take enough breaks at work, try it out for a week and see the difference it can make! Perform Eye Exercises One of the fastest ways to improve your vision naturally is to perform daily eye exercises. Eye exercises are meant to strengthen the eyes and improve vision. Using eye exercises can even eliminate your need for contacts or glasses. Get a regular schedule of eye exercises and try to do them daily – this will help you get in the habit of performing exercises and also help you achieve better vision fast. First, apply heat to your eyes by rubbing your palms together and then placing them over your eyes. Hold your hands over your eyes for five to 10 seconds, and then repeat. Do this before performing any eye exercises in order to prepare your eyes! Start exercising by rolling your eyes. Rolling is one of the easiest eye exercises! Without straining your eyes (remember to stop if it hurts), look up as far as you can. Then, look down. Repeat this 10 times. Now look to each side, repeating 10 times. After that, look in each diagonal direction. Finally, roll your eyes in a counter-clockwise motion about 10 times, then reverse the movement and roll them clockwise. Grab a pen and hold it at arm’s length, making sure the pen is at eye level. Focus on the tip of the pen as you move it closer to your eyes. Stop when you get about six inches away from your face, and focus on the tip as you move it back to arm’s length. Remember to do this slowly and focus on the tip of the pen. Repeat about 10 times. Massage your eyes after exercising. First, massage your temples with your fingertips or one of your knuckles. Move in a clockwise motion several times, and then switch to a counter-clockwise motion. Massage over your eyebrows and under your eyes as well. When you’re done exercising and massaging, apply heat to your eyes once more by rubbing your palms together. If your eyes are really tired, close them and rest for a few moments. Resting your eyes frequently, as described in the previous section, is very important to preserving the health of your eyes! Take Extra Steps! Our Rebuild Your Vision Program is designed to help you improve your vision with eye exercises. Once you start learning some eye exercises, consider trying out this program to supplement your eye health routine. Be dedicated to improving and preserving your eye sight!

Cabin fever! Air hostesses pose in bikinis for VietJet ad campaign in leaked photos Most airlines advertise by boasting about the legroom on their planes, low prices, or how snazzy it is to fly first class. But this Asian carrier had different ideas… and decided to show off how its cabin crew looks when they’re not in uniform. Are you ready to take off? (Picture: Do Long/Ngoc Trinh/Facebook) Are you ready to take off? (Picture: Do Long/Ngoc Trinh/Facebook) VietJet asked ten of its air hostesses (or were they lingerie models?) to pose in red and yellow bikinis for a new promotion, matching the colours seen on the fuselage of its planes. In the photos, the ‘staff’ are seen sauntering provocatively down the aisles, opening overhead lockers, and glamorously descending the steps to a runway. One even manages to strike a pose on the plane’s wing. Forget a wingman, looks like you need a wingwoman... (Picture: Do Long/Ngoc Trinh/Facebook) Forget a wingman, looks like you need a wingwoman… (Picture: Do Long/Ngoc Trinh/Facebook) Despite the ambitious PR stunt, the Vietnamese carrier appears to have got cold feet over the photo shoot. A spokesman has insisted it wasn’t planning to use them in an official campaign. All together now: Air hostess, I like the way you dress... She has since been forced to insist that the airline’s campaign isn’t objectifying women, and stressed that the pictures weren’t in bad taste. Two years ago, the company was fined the princely sum of £611 after air hostesses treated passengers on its first flight from Ho Chi Mihn City to Nha Trang to a Hawaii-inspired dance, again in bikinis. At least their uniforms are consistent... (Picture: Do Long/Ngoc Trinh/Facebook) At least their uniforms are consistent… (Picture: Do Long/Ngoc Trinh/Facebook) It isn’t the only airline to capitalise on the good looks of its staff, either. RyanAir issues an annual calendar featuring a minimally dressed cabin crew, and donates the proceeds to charity. It's a departure from the usual attire, don't you think? It may have been unsure of whether to use the photographs, but they got leaked anyway. How convenient for them. Video of a Man who is beheaded in Saudi Arabia - Video Dailymotion

Saudi Arabia punishment by umar-akmalIn the vast deserts of northern Saudi Arabia, close to the borders of Iraq and Kuwait, Exercise Northern Thunder has just concluded. For nearly a month, the kingdom has been hosting forces from 20 allied nations, its first chance to practise integrating the Saudi-led Islamic Coalition announced last year to combat terrorism. This, say the Saudis, is the largest concentration of military forces in the region since the Desert Storm campaign of 1991 drove Iraq's army out of Kuwait. Local media reports quoting figures of 350,000 troops looked to have been somewhat exaggerated. There was little sign of massed formations of infantry and the Saudi general in charge declined to give me a total figure - "the numbers are not important" - suggesting that the actual turnout may have been lower than expected. But the air force component was significant. At King Saud Airbase, near the town on Hafr Al-Batin, I watched squadrons of Egyptian, Jordanian and Bahraini F16 warplanes, along with Qatari Mirage jets, training alongside Saudi Typhoons and F15s. Nearby, Kuwaiti artillery was dug in under camouflage netting, tanks from the UAE rumbled across a sandy valley while Saudi Apache helicopters hovered overhead. "We are testing our infrastructures, our airports, our seaports, our airbases, to make sure we can host such a coalition," Brig Gen Ahmad al-Assiri, Saudi Arabia's chief military spokesman, told me, adding that forces of the Islamic Coalition need to be able to shift from fighting a conventional war to fighting a guerrilla insurgency. Sense of encirclement Many of the countries participating are already having to do just that, such as Mali with al-Qaeda in the north, and Pakistan coping with attacks by the Taliban. But the country feeling most threatened of all is Saudi Arabia. Its forces are fighting a war in Yemen on its southern border, while its air force is deployed to the north attacking the so-called Islamic State (IS) in Syria, the group that has already carried out several bombings inside Saudi Arabia. The Saudis are also starting to feel encircled by proxy militias of their arch rival, Iran, with Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria, Shia militias in Iraq and the Iranian-supported Houthi rebels in Yemen. So can Saudi Arabia fight on two fronts, in Yemen and in Syria? I put the question to Gen al-Assiri. "I know it is exhausting in a matter of resources, in a matter of people," he says. "Today we face challenges in the south and our forces are stretched in the north and deployed since 2014. This is why - because we feel that our national security is in danger." Air strikes criticism This twin campaign has come at a difficult time for the world's second biggest oil producer and exporter. Oil prices have dropped by more than 60% from their highs, resulting in budget shortfalls and a nationwide cutback in contracts and hiring. The Yemen war is draining Saudi coffers at an alarming rate, but there is another factor the leadership in Riyadh must contend with: the mounting international opposition to its air strikes in Yemen, where an estimated 6,000 people have been killed by the past 12 months of war

Rawalpindi Guy Got Mad On Metro Bus - PG18+

Rawalpindi Guy Got Mad On Metro Bus - PG18+ by umar-akmal LAHORE - The prevailing silence of the PML-N over the NAB boggy in Punjab is indicative of a state of preparedness on both sides for a full scale war that could begin any time. Sources in the know about the inside developments in the ruling party and the NAB confide that the PML-N after initial bombardments on NAB to scare it away from casting threatening eye on Punjab, where this party has been in power since 2008, has changed the strategy to meet the trouble in the face. So is with the NAB which is quietly taking its investigations forward on the mega projects of the Punjab government. They say in the first round Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif warned NAB to keep its hands off the officialdom to indirectly block its way into the mega projects of billions of rupees in the Punjab cities being executed under the supervision of Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Later voices were raised by PML-N ministers in support of the prime minister’s stand as well as to nip the pressure the PPP, PTI and JI built for NAB action in Punjab after FIA, NAB and Rangers had at their respective end dug out huge corruption in Sindh. The PPP is particularly in the forefront for NAB action in Punjab when its key member Dr Asim Hussain has been in custody since mid-August allegedly for the corruption of over Rs400 billion, and now Fisherman Society chairman Dr Nisar Morai, another close associate of Asif Ali Zardari, is the second scalp from this party. As such pressure is mounting on Punjab for accountability of the mega projects and the provincial government is lining itself up to meet the upcoming situation. CM Shehbaz asserts total transparency in the Punjab mega projects. He had challenged the NAB to prove a penny’s misappropriation or he would expose the institution. In this background lie the overly and covertly made efforts of the government to either clip powers of the NAB or bring in the much-aspired for Accountability Commission about which the PML-N had moved the National Assembly during the last PPP government. Sources say so far the government is quiet on both due to lack of requisite political support yet these options are not off the table. They say the PPP which itself has serious reservations about action on its men, may come to the side of rulers. JUI-F, which is partner of PML-N government at Centre, could also lend its support on new accountability law if promised by the Punjab government of addressing its reservations over Women Protection Law. The N-government, sources say, is pursing wait and see policy about NAB activity and it has refrained its ministers from speaking loudly on Punjab accountability issue lest it should project the impression of panic on its part. Yet the government has not turned its eyes off NAB in Punjab. The Punjab government has 28 mega projects completed or under completion. Of them, the sources say, NAB is investigating alleged corruption in Metro Bus Lahore and Rawalpindi, water filtration plants, the purchase of chemical for dengue spray in 2011, Metro Orange Line contract, the Punjab Youth Festival and some other projects. They say a provincial minister was earlier interrogated by the NAB in Youth festival case and now he is facing two other cases: video scandal and illegal commercialisation of hundreds of plots. The minister claims innocence while NAB, as per reports, is about to complete the probe. Sources say in Lahore Metro Bus, a project of about Rs30 billion, the NAB is investigating alleged corruption in the purchase of escalators while an arrested contractor of Orange Line Train has allegedly revealed corruption of crores of rupees. For this Rs165 billion mega project, the Chinese bank had sanctioned soft loan only last month while work on it has been going on for the last four months. Sources say the NAB is also due to look into the transparent use of the public money. They further add that at the federal level, two persons closely related to the ruling quarters are being probed about their alleged corruption in contracts and tax evasion.

Indian Desi School Boys _ Girls kissing in Classroom

kissing in school girl and boys by umar-akmalOne of my favorite T-shirts in my old collection said something to the effect that “It will be a great day when schools have all the money they need and the Air Force has to hold a bake sale.” Indeed, we continue to need supplements to our educational system to this day. It was wishful thinking. Attending parochial school, we sold rosaries, some Catholic newspaper (that didn’t last long); collected newspapers for recycling — one got paid by the pound for them in those days (probably a lot of those Catholic newspapers in the pile) and held a Halloween carnival with moneymakers like Cakewalks. Needless to say, that did well. In high school, every year they would tow some junker car into the quad area in front of the gym. At lunch, for $5, you could take a swing at it with a big ol’ sledge hammer. Get your ya ya’s out as well as raise money. I never wanted to show off my amazing strength-for-such-a-small-girl, so I left it up to the football players and other studly dudes. Car washes are another popular income generator. Schools, church groups and even the Youth Center held one with the help of Windsor Construction’s water truck in the parking lot of the Vets Hall. Thank goodness for Windsor. Thank goodness for having a lovely big parking lot. It’s fun, everyone gets wet and soapy and goofy. Big tips. Of course, drive-through barbecues are the town’s biggest fundraiser for folks in need. But the volleyball team and other sporting groups have implemented this tactic with good success. Having an accompanying bake sale is mandatory. I believe bake sales were the original fundraiser in American history. “Betsy, we love what you’ve done with the flag … but do you think you can whip up some snickerdoodles that we may sell them at the crossroads to enable us to purchase more fabric to make more?” Magazine sales, See’s Candy, wrapping paper … none compare to Cow Plop Bingo. OK, I love See’s Candy, but I remember years ago when the lot next to what’s now the 927 Beer Co. was penned in, with one or two cows (were those from the Pedotti’s?) mulling over the corral that was chalked in with numbered squares. The idea was you bought a number for whatever the dollar amount was, and waited. For the cow to, you know … plop. On your square. Could have lasted an hour. Could have waited all day. Depends on how much roughage they’d consumed. Hilllllarious. This week, another good event is wrapping up at the Cambria Grammar School. The PTA put together a “Kiss a Pig” contest. Yep. Live one, courtesy of Tara Covell. There were plastic piggy banks on campus with each teacher’s name on them along with the principal’s. Whoever got the most dollar votes “won.” Hahahahaha. Collin Younger has that honor at Friday’s special assembly. They made almost $500! With a stock market-like graph in the office, the kids got a real kick out of it. As much as PTA needs the funds, it was really a morale booster as the school year has headed into that downward slide toward summer. Funds and fun. I suppose the Air Force is never going to hold a bake sale. So, our kids are realizing that they’ve got to work hard for what they deserve anyway — an education — but they can at least have fun along the way and build team spirit!
